As I mentioned in the previous post, Kirstie surprised me with a card on the morning of my birthday and inside the card explained how we were to pack our bags and get ready for a stay in the most perfect cozy mountain cabin. What I forgot to mention was just how unbelievably cool the card was that she gave me. The photo is below but it simply states “I Love You More Than A Giant Burrito.” This really went straight to my heart, as silly as it sounds, I know just how much that card really meant. One of our very first dates was at Taqueria Cancun in the Mission District of San Francisco and that became a regular establishment for us. We literally lived off of these amazing burritos. It basically provided life support for us and was a place that we spent so much time together. We always got the super burrito, she preferred the mexican bottled coca-cola and I usually went for the horchata. So this card is the most amazing card I could ever receive. The card alone brings back the wonderful beginnings of our dating right up to the present day of our wonderful marriage. Kirstie, I too love you more than the largest, most giant burrito that exists. I love you more than the burritos at Taqueria Cancun, El Farolito, Tacos La Playita, Tacos Michoacan, and Tres Hermanos! There is no Taqueria that can create a burrito that could touch my love for you even on the hungriest of days. I know that this is silly, but it is this comedy that keeps us alive, through the daily routine with the dogs to the most simple tasks of the day. Thank you so much, you really are the best gift giver in the world.
